We retain data only as long as necessary for:
- Providing our services
- Complying with legal obligations
- Resolving disputes
- Preventing fraud and abuse
Retention Periods

Data Deletion Process
Upon Account Closure
- • Day 0: Account marked closed
- • Day 7: Authentication credentials deleted
- • Day 90: Account data hard deleted
- • Day 120: Purged from all backups
Exception: Financial records retained for 7 years (legally required)
Deletion Methods
- • Soft Delete: Data marked deleted, recoverable for grace period
- • Hard Delete: Data permanently removed and overwritten
- • Anonymization: Personal identifiers removed
Your Rights
You can request:
- Deletion - Request immediate deletion of your data
- Export - Download all your data before deletion
- Partial Deletion - Delete specific data while keeping account
Note: We cannot delete financial records required by law (7 years for tax purposes).
Exceptions
We may retain data longer if required for:
- Legal Hold - Litigation, investigation, or audit
- Fraud Prevention - Up to 7 years for fraud cases
- Dispute Resolution - Until dispute resolved + 180 days
- Statutory Requirements - Tax, accounting, regulatory obligations
